Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Workshop Manager at Transcargo Limited located in Lusaka. The Workshop Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop and ensuring timely and efficient maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment. The Workshop Manager will also be responsible for managing inventory levels, scheduling repairs and maintenance, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in workshop management and vehicle maintenance
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to analyze and solve problems in a timely manner
- Experience in inventory management and scheduling
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
