Key Responsibilities:

• Customize and build comprehensive WordPress themes and plugins from scratch or by adapting existing ones.
• Spearhead the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, ensuring high-performance and availability, while managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Work closely with the design team to convert Adobe XD or Figma designs into HTML, CSS, and then WordPress.
• Implement responsive web designs that are optimized for various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop an effective workflow, and ensure projects are delivered on time and adhere to quality standards.
• Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in web technologies and WordPress community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Extensive experience in converting Adobe XD or Figma designs to HTML/CSS and WordPress themes.
• Strong understanding of the latest web standards and best practices, including SEO and accessibility.
• Familiarity with sourcing control systems like Git.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
