1. Waiter/Waitress
Job Summary:

As a Waiter/Waitress at cfb Medical Centre, you will play a vital role in serving customers and ensuring that orders are delivered accurately and on time, while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and present menus
  • Make suggestions based on customer preferences
  • Take and serve food and drink orders
  • Upsell menu items when appropriate
  • Arrange table settings
  • Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
  • Check food and beverage products for quality
  • Collect payments and issue receipts
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with all serving and kitchen staff
  • Adhere to all health regulations and internal customer service guidelines
2. Kitchen Steward

Job Summary:

As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area, ensuring proper sanitation of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and supporting the chefs and line staff with kitchen duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, storerooms, and dishwashing area
  • Assist in receiving and storing food supplies properly
  • Dispose of kitchen waste in a hygienic manner
  • Follow proper safety and sanitation policies
  • Support chefs and kitchen staff as required

CONTRACT TYPE: Full Time

Minimum Requirements (for both positions):
  • Full Grade 12 Certificate with a credit in English
  • Certificate in Food Production or Hospitality is an added advantage
  • Computer literate
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role (hospital, hotel, or restaurant setting preferred)
