Purpose of The Role:
This job exists to add value to the company through obtaining relevant paperwork key to selling a vehicle at the point of receiving a vehicle right through to auctioning/selling. Supervision of staff to ensure productivity is a must. An eye for detail and an ability to forecast and multitask in this fast paced environment will be requirements of the role.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reporting to: Vehicles Manager
  • Supervision of: Vehicle Receivers and Salesmen
  • Interacts with: Senior Management team, All Supervisors, internal and external Clients

Supervisory Controls:

The Position is Supervised through:

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Completion of all valuations for sale or other purposes
  • Ensures accuracy of vehicle information entered into the system
  • Having meetings and checks with the checkers and salesman
  • Ensuring effective Communication.
  • Vehicles valet monitoring and material usage controls.
  • Plugging revenue leakages through effective collection of entry fees, towing and other administrative fees.
  • Document follow ups.
  • Making sure that auctions run smoothly through verification of vehicle information.
  • Ensuring all the necessary clearances are done on each vehicle I.e police clearances, RTSA, ZRA.
  • Ensuring external service providers are paid for on time that is (i.e valet staff and towing companies).
  • Following up and formulating client contracts.
  • Dealing with day-to-day client and customer queries.
  • Performance appraisals and staff motivation

Minimum Hiring Standards:

Education

  • Advanced Level certificate or, similar level diploma
  • Or, Qualifications by Experience – minimum of 2 years in a similar role

Experience:

  • Leading teams
  • Dealing with clients
  • Handling and resolving complaints/issues
  • Computer literacy – proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
