Job Title: Office Assistant

Purpose of the Role: The Office Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and undertaking administrative responsibilities within the office environment. This position aims to ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations by providing support where needed.
Responsibilities:
• Perform general cleaning duties, including but not limited to dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas such as meeting rooms, kitchen, and restrooms.
• Assist in managing office supplies inventory and placing orders as necessary.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
• Assist in filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
• Provide administrative support to various departments as assigned.
• Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Support the Finance and Administration team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by staff.
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Certificate in any business-related field.
• Knowledge of office management.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• A positive attitude and willingness to provide support wherever needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
