STORES SUPERVISOR – ZAMLEATHER X1

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

  • Receiving finished goods from production based on a production Internal Transfer Note.
  • Stocking the materials and ensuring easy access, identification, verification and handling.
  • Ensuring transfer from Production is checked and quantity received is as per ITN. Any variances have to be reported to the Line Manager or Senior Management immediately.
  • Ensuring that all Stores Bin Cards are updated with regards to products received and issued.
  • Ensuring adequate record keeping (i.e. receipts, issues, balances) and managing proper documentation.
  • Ensuring stock in stores is secure and nothing goes out unauthorized.
  • Always be present for monthly stock taking.
  • Ensuring that the stores assistants are adequately trained and supervised.
  • Maintaining housekeeping of the stores, including advising the Line manager of dead stock or old stock.
  • Maintaining of discipline in line with laid down procedures as outlined in the Disciplinary Code and Grievance Handling Procedure Handbook.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or related Field
  • 3 years relevant experience
  • Member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong Excel skills
