The key purpose of this job is to assist in controlling all movement of stock through the Warehouse and to ensure the safe guarding of company assets & inventory whilst minimizing risk, fraud & losses by ensuring compliance to stock management and control processes & procedures. The role reports to the Stock Controller.
Control Inventory
- Ensure all stock can be accounted for
- Capturing movement of stock on the system
- Recommend optimal Warehouse layout
- Prepares the system for Stock count
- Monitor Warehouse breakages
- Receive and verify stock from supplier
- Receive RTS
- Monitors stock for stock rotation and initiates the write-off of stock.
- Circulate weekly/monthly stock report
Administration
- Complied with SHEQ & VPO requirements
- Compliance to all Quality requirements
- Ensures compliance to 5S requirements
Efficiency Forum
- Judgement and decision making
- Agile in thinking and nimble in decision making
- Adept at discerning and balancing the most important priorities (simplifies complexity)
- Simplifies the decision-making process for self and others
- Efficiently applies rigor and operating discipline to ensure decisions are made on a timely basis
