Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Lusaka Province, Zambia, for an App Programmer. The App Programmer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and provide customized solutions, ensuring a high-level user experience, and debugging and troubleshooting applications as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in mobile application development for Android and iOS platforms
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
• Fluency with App development frameworks and tools such as React Native, Ionic, Xamarin, Android Studio, and Xcode
• Knowledge of mobile app design principles, patterns, and best practices
• An eye for detail and dedication to delivering high-quality applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and experience working in collaborative environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines and dynamic environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and troubleshoot applications
• Prior experience in developing and publishing applications on Google Play Store and Apple App Store is a plus
