We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for developing and executing engaging content across our social media platforms, managing our online communities, and staying on top of the latest social media trends.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Creation:
- Develop compelling and engaging content for our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram.
- Research and curate industry-relevant content to share with our audience.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.
- Stay informed of current social media trends and adapt content strategies accordingly.
Community Management:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster positive online communities and engage with followers and customers.
- Address customer service inquiries and concerns through social media channels.
- Moderate comments for inappropriate content.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and content strategies.
- Generate reports and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on social media analytics tools and best practices.
Other Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other marketing team members to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity.
- Assist with other marketing initiatives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 School Certificate
- 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- Proven ability to create engaging and creative content.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
