To implement and execute a sales strategy focused on servicing Foreign Exchange needs of both existing and new business clients to meet set profitability, turnover and client base targets

Experience and qualifications

  • Minimum Qualification – Relevant Finance Degree
  • Preferred Qualification – ACI Dealing Certificate or Post-graduate Qualification in Finance or Masters in Business Administration
  • Experience – 3 to 5 years foreign exchange, money market products and services, team leadership and sales experience
  • Additional Knowledge – An understanding of macro-economics and current economic trends and their effects on the business
  • Knowledge of Risk Management, Operational Risk, Market Risk, Counterparty Risk and Credit Risk within a banking environment
  • An understanding of Exchange Controls, Forward foreign exchange, Foreign exchange operations and Spot foreign exchange
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Marketing techniques i.e. how to win the confidence of clients and prospects
  • An excellent working knowledge of treasury products
  • Interest rate dynamics and interest rate products and other intermediate products
  • Market ethics according to the FXGlobal Code
