African Bush Camps is owned by one of Africa’s top safari guides, Beks Ndlovu, who is dedicated to providing guests with personalized, memorable wilderness experiences.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Guard located in Livingstone – Thorntree River Lodge. The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring physical security, personnel security, and private security. They will also be responsible for providing superior customer service to guests and employees.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal Skills: The candidate should possess strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively interact with guests, employees, and management.
• Physical Security: The candidate should have experience working in a physical security role and be able to maintain a high level of alertness and attention to detail.
• Personnel Security: The candidate should have knowledge of personnel security practices and procedures, including access control, identification verification, and surveillance.
• Private Security: The candidate should have experience in private security, including risk assessment and security planning.
• Customer Service: The candidate should have a customer-focused mindset and be able to provide exceptional service to guests and employees alike.
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in stressful situations.
• Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is a plus.
