JOB PURPOSE

To ensure effective planning and coordination of the physical security of staff and Bank properties/assets

Under the supervision of the Security Administrator, the following are among the Job Key Responsibilities: –

  • To ensure adequate security is available at all bank premises by overseeing that all guards are detailed and present at all times and ensure that access control process at all bank premises are well managed.
  • To ensure all security installations including; camera systems, alarm systems and access controls are functional and well maintained at all Bank premises
  • To respond appropriately to security emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and provide effective solutions
  • To prepare and submit all monthly reports and relevant security incident/system reports.
  • To ensure that all faults reported by branches and any other stake holders are attended to promptly and are tracked for closure.
  • To ensure that the systems in the control room are working properly starting from all access doors in head office are working properly
  • Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by management

 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • Degree Information Technology/Networking or any other relevant subject
  • Degree in a relevant subject is an added advantage
  • Five (5) years’ experience in security operations and security systems management
  • Experience in CCTV & access control management is an added advantage.
  • Discipline certifications is an added advantage
