Job Purpose
To develop, nurture and grow the mining sector business for Dana Group of Companies through the marketing and management in terms of sales opportunities. The Sales Manager-Mining shall further establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities

  • Development of a comprehensive and practical sales plan focusing on identification of potential clients.
  • Work towards attainment of 100% of the sales target.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders in the mining sector for cost effective and efficient sales management.
  • Ensure that the minimum gross profit is achieved as outlined in the business plan.
  • Ensure prompt debt collection in line with the business plan.
  • Embark on market price surveys, competitor business activities and other related functions as necessary.
  • Attend to client queries and related matters to ensure sound business relations.
  • Provision of after sales technical support services to clients.
  • Building of relationships with clients and encouraging long-term buyers.


  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field from an accredited higher learning institution. A qualification in Sales and Marketing qualification will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in a similar role is required.
