We are inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:
POSITION: SAFETY HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT INTERN
LOCATION: LUSAKA
CONTRACT: SIX MONTHS INTERSHIP
Reporting to the SHE Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:
- Assisting in managing site maintenance contractors
- Assisting in managing site contractors, licenses and Permits
- Assisting in managing site access control
- Assisting with Implementation of the occupational health, safety and environmental legislation in the work place
- Apply occupational health, safety and environmental principles
- Assist with Health, Safety and Environment with Audit Scores (NOSA, KORE and Legal Compliance)
- Assist with Building/Site Maintenance response time.
- Assist with General site maintenance.
This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma or Degree in Occupation Health and Safety/Environmental Management
- Good leadership potential and Analytical problem solver
- Self-starter and able to communicate effectively in the workplace.
