WE ARE HIRING — RIGGER (Zambia)
SMEI Projects is recruiting a qualified Rigger for structural construction works in Zambia.
Requirements:
✔ Trade Test in Rigging, ZAQA authenticated
✔ 5+ years in structural construction
✔ 3+ years in a rigging position
✔ Working at heights with fall arrest equipment
✔ Strong knowledge of construction site safety procedures
Responsibilities: Inspect and register all lifting and fall arrest equipment, secure steel wire and nylon slings, install rigging and lifting equipment (chain blocks, coffin hoists), rig structural, mechanical and piping items into position, supervise assembly and erection, and coordinate mobile cranes during lifting operations.
💰 ZMW 9.58 – ZMW 13.55 per hour
