WE ARE HIRING — MEWP OPERATOR (Zambia)
SMEI Projects is recruiting a certified Mobile Elevated Work Platform Operator for site works in Zambia.
Requirements:
✔ Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent
✔ Valid MEWP Operator Certificate (IPAF or equivalent accredited provider)
✔ 1–3 years operating MEWPs in construction, mining, industrial or maintenance environments
✔ Experience on articulating and telescopic boom lifts
✔ Basic literacy and numeracy to follow manuals, safety signage and work instructions
Advantageous: Working at Heights, OHS, First Aid, emergency rescue, and Basic Rigging and Slinging certifications.
Responsibilities: Safely operate powered access equipment to lift personnel and materials to elevated work areas, perform pre-use equipment checks, position and operate the platform correctly, follow site safety procedures, understand daily hazards and control measures, keep equipment clean and housekeeping to standard, and always use safety harness equipment.
💰 ZMW 21.43 – ZMW 33.33 per hour
