Konkola Mineral Resources Limited (KMRL), a subsidiary of Konkola Copper Mines (KCM), is one of the largest copper producers in Zambia. It operates underground and open pit mines located at Nchanga and Konkola. To support this vision KRML would like to recruit experienced and qualified individuals for the following positions in the Medical Department:
Registered Midwife (3 positions)
The successful candidates will be required among other duties to:
- Attend to maternal cases and reports/refers complicated cases
- Assist the nursing officer in all matters related to maternal and child health care and runs the ward in her absence
- Ensures emergency equipment are in good working condition
- Ensures good housekeeping in order to prevent cross infection
- Caries out all nursing procedures
Requirements:
- Grade 12 school certificate
- Diploma in Midwifery
- At least 2 years relevant working experience in Midwifery
- Fully registered with Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ)
