ProBASE is seeking expertise of a Compliance Officer to drive overall compliance in terms of the company’s Policies and Procedures as well as legislation pertaining to the Fintech and related Banking and Financial Services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner

• Answer and direct phone calls promptly and efficiently

• Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring it reflects a professional image of the company

• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, distributing them to the appropriate recipients

• Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation

• Schedule appointments and meetings, coordinating with internal staff and external parties as needed

• Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, ordering supplies as necessary

• Assist with special projects and events, providing logistical support as required

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificates with minimum credit in Mathematics and English

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and pleasant demeanour

• Professional appearance and demeanour, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn and adapt
