Cfb Medical Centre is a private hospital in Lusaka looking to recruit a dynamic individual to the position of:

Public Relation Officer 

The candidate will be responsible for communications between medical professionals or health care organizations and their stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Planning, developing and implementing
• PR strategies Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations
• Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
• Collecting and analysing media coverage
• Writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports
• Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail, leaflets promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes
• Devising and coordinating photo opportunities
• Maintaining and updating information on the organisation’s website
• Managing and updating information and engaging with users on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook,
• Sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities
• Commissioning market research
• Fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement community initiatives;

The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes.

• Full grade 12 certificate with credit in English
• Diploma in Public Relation or related field
• Worked in dynamic Corporate/Multinational company
• Able to work with tight deadlines Good computer skills Knowledge of web designing will be an added advantage
• Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience
