Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision and guidance of the Clinical lead, the Consultant Psychotherapist will be responsible for the following:
Clinical
- Effectively provide quality Psychotherapy to clients
- Commitment to participate in Continuous Professional Development sessions (CPD)
- Assessing clients to understand their needs
- identifying appropriate therapeutic techniques
- Listening to patients without judgement
- Helping patients reflect on their situations and articulate their thoughts
- Prompting clients to explore behaviour, attitudes and emotions.
- Helping clients identify potential changes they could make to reduce distress
- Working with other therapists, support and medical professionals
- Keeping accurate records
Publicity and Marketing
- Support the marketing leadership team through the organization and administrative support for various projects
- Maintain strong communication between marketing team and stakeholders
- Plan, prepare and deliver presentations on behalf of the marketing team on social media platforms and through media houses
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or equivalent
- Valid license to practice psychotherapy in Zambia
- At least 3 years’ experience in providing therapy sessions
- Ability to effectively connect and build rapport with clients
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
