Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision and guidance of the Clinical lead, the Consultant Psychotherapist will be responsible for the following:

Clinical

  • Effectively provide quality Psychotherapy to clients
  • Commitment to participate in Continuous Professional Development sessions (CPD)
  • Assessing clients to understand their needs
  • identifying appropriate therapeutic techniques
  • Listening to patients without judgement
  • Helping patients reflect on their situations and articulate their thoughts
  • Prompting clients to explore behaviour, attitudes and emotions.
  • Helping clients identify potential changes they could make to reduce distress
  • Working with other therapists, support and medical professionals
  • Keeping accurate records

Publicity and Marketing

  • Support the marketing leadership team through the organization and administrative support for various projects
  • Maintain strong communication between marketing team and stakeholders
  • Plan, prepare and deliver presentations on behalf of the marketing team on social media platforms and through media houses

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or equivalent
  • Valid license to practice psychotherapy in Zambia
  • At least 3 years’ experience in providing therapy sessions
  • Ability to effectively connect and build rapport with clients
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
