Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? Spectra Oil Corporation is seeking a proactive Production Assistant to provide essential support to our production team in Ndola. If you excel at coordination, record-keeping, and ensuring materials are where they need to be, we want you to help us meet our production, quality, and safety targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Coordination: Execute daily production schedules to ensure all output targets are met on time and in full.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate real-time production records, track work orders, output, and workflow status.
- Material Management: Ensure materials are available and correctly staged to support uninterrupted production runs.
- Inventory Monitoring: Track inventory levels, report discrepancies, and help maintain accurate stock records.
- Quality & Safety: Uphold quality and safety standards by conducting checks and adhering to protocols.
- Communication: Provide clear and timely updates, instructions, and daily performance reports to the team.
- Data Management: Accurately capture and maintain operational data in the ERP system.
- Documentation: Ensure precise and complete documentation for all production and logistics activities.
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical) or a related field. A certificate in Production Management is desirable.
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with production planning tools or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Basic understanding of production processes and equipment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Accuracy in record-keeping and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve minor operational issues.
