POULTRY SUPERVISOR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise daily poultry farm operations, including feeding, watering, and monitoring flock health.
• Maintain proper bio-security and hygiene standards within the poultry houses.
• Oversee vaccination, treatment, and medication schedules.
• Record production data such as feed consumption, mortality, and egg or bird output.
• Supervise farm workers and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, ventilation, lighting).
• Report daily farm performance to the Farm Manager.
• Assist in planning and implementing strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma or Certificate in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in poultry management (broilers or layers).
• Good understanding of poultry nutrition, disease control, and bio-security.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team.
