Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Plant Manager at Safpack Packaging Solutions Ltd located in Lusaka. As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing plant operations, including production planning, budgeting, resource management, quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. You will also lead a team of production supervisors and operators, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in plant management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certifications in plant management or related areas are a plus
