Job Description
Overall Job Purpose:
As the Maintenance Planning Administrator, you will maintain the quality and integrity of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system by entering accurate data that supports effective reporting and decision-making. You will also be responsible for organizing and indexing all maintenance-related documents, such as work orders, manuals, drawings, charts, etc., and ensuring their easy accessibility within the Maintenance Planning Office.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Accurately collect and capture data pertaining to key equipment in line with the work management procedure.
- Act as interface between operations and maintenance by raising work requests and ensuring they are scheduled by the Planner.
- Raise work requests, work orders and close when executed in Pronto (CMMS) system and ensure their proper documentation and disposition as per work management procedure.
- Validate data indicating discrepancies, execute timeous collection of work orders and ensure the accuracy of PM related data.
- Maintain and manage inventory records of maintenance-related materials, equipment and tools on completed work orders and tag and return unused or repairable parts to warehouse.
- Scan and attach completed work orders to Pronto and perform general office duties such as photocopying, binding documents, etc.
- Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibility by ensuring compliance with all Trident and First Quantum Minerals Standards and Procedures.
- Assist in providing a safe working environment for the team and demonstrate commitment through personal behaviour, and the identification of the significant health and safety risks.
Job Specific Competencies
- Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project is added advantage.
- CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems), preferably Pronto

Experience Required To Perform In This Job
- Minimum (2) years maintenance and/or engineering experience in the mining industry, preferably with fixed plant processing equipment
- Valid Driving Licence
- Experience in the use of a recognized CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) preferably Pronto.
- Prior planning experience will be highly regarded.
Qualifications
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum of a Craft Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering Field
- Experience and demonstrated grasp of the principles of maintenance practice
- Project Management qualification will be desirable.
