Cfb Medical Centre is a private hospital in Lusaka looking to recruit a dynamic individual to fill the position of:

1. PHYSIOTHERAPIST

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatments to help patients restore physical function, improve mobility, and enhance overall well-being.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess and treat patients referred by medical practitioners using appropriate physiotherapy techniques and equipment.
• Develop and implement effective treatment and rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual patient needs.
• Conduct antenatal and postnatal exercises for mothers.
• Provide guidance on the use of splints, aids, and surgical appliances, and ensure proper fitting and adaptation.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and departmental registers.
• Ensure safe and effective use of all physiotherapy equipment and uphold hygiene and infection control standards in the department.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Observe patient confidentiality and professional ethics at all times.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Diploma in Physiotherapy (Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage).
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a private hospital setting.
• Computer literate with good documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Strong commitment to patient care and professional integrity.
