Position: Part-time Board Administrator

Baobab College, a leading independent international school in Zambia, is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Board Administrator starting 1st September, 2025.
This role provides vital support to the Board of Governors and ensures the smooth and efficient running of all Board-related administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities/Competencies/Skills:

• Provide administrative support to the Board, including preparing and distributing meeting minutes, agendas, and other documents.
• Coordinate Board meetings, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to Board activities.
• Assist with communication between Board members and other stakeholders.
• Manage Board correspondence and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Support the implementation of the Board’s strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
• At least 3 years’ proven experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within an educational or non-profit organization.
• Excellent minute-taking and report writing skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Familiarity with corporate governance and regulatory compliance
• Experience of working in a legal practice will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Flexibility to attend meetings outside regular working hours as needed.

Reporting Line

• The successful candidate will be reporting direct to the Chairperson of the Board of Directors and the Company Secretary.
