Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out all duties associated with 100 Tonner Haul Trucks operations in mining department.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Hauling material.
  • Maintain efficient and safe operational status of the machine by conducting prestart checks daily.
  • Operate the machine in a manner that will not result in undue or unnecessary equipment breakdown.
  • Ensure the Machine is refueled in each shift.
  • Work under the supervision of shift supervisors to maintain site safety standards.
  • Report all defects on the Machine to the maintenance and mine dispatch section.
  • Carry out any other production related requests, as necessary.

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must have a Grade 12 School Certificate.
  • Must be certified to operate a 100 Tonner Rigid Dump Truck machine.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar role in the mining industry.
  • Must have sound Knowledge of safe working procedures and Mine operations.
  • Must be able to pass psychometric/ Dover Tests.
  • Should Poses certificates of competence in operating Mining Haul Trucks.
