1. CREDIT ANALYST-LOAN DOCUMENTATION AND ADMINISTRATION

Reporting to the Head of Credit the job will be responsible for ensuring that loan documentation is in place for all credit facilities approved by the Bank’s authorised individuals and/or committees, as well as recovery and management of delinquent /problem accounts under various portfolios.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE Equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration or ACCA/CIMA or degree in relevant field
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of relevant experience

2. CREDIT ANALYST COLLECTIONS AND RECOVERIES

Reporting to the Head of Credit the jobholder will be responsible for designing and implementing effective collection strategies and tactical interventions to ensure proper management of Credit Risk.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE Equivalent
  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Economics Business Administration or ACCA/CIMA or Diploma/Degree in any relevant field
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of relevant experience

3. RECONCILIATIONS AND REPORTING OFFICER

Reporting to the Manager – Cards and Channels, the holder will be responsible for Mastercard, VISA and NFS Interm and year and reconciliations in accordance with ZICB policies and management of audit queries and reporting of regulatory returns.

Qualification and Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE Equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance or Business Administration or ACCA/CIMA or Degree in any relevant field
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience

Skills Required to undertake the Role

  • Conversant with Mastercard, VISA and NFS services
  • Good knowledge of the banking industry and regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent time management and decision-making skills while effectively handling high volume situations with little management oversite
  • Aggressive, persistent and inquisitive personality

4. CHARGE BACK AND FRAUD MONITORING OFFICER

Reporting to the Manager – Cards and Channels the jobholder will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, investigating, and responding to suspected fraudulent transactions and chargeback disputes reported Cross the ZICB branch network whilst maintaining strict adherence to domestic and international chargebacks and regulations and resolving complex issues with little management over-site.

Qualification and Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE Equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance or Business Administration or ACCA/CIMA or Degree in any relevant
  • Minimum of Two (2) years of relevant experience

5. SETTLEMENTS AND PROCESSING OFFICER

Reporting to the Manager – Cards and Channels the jobholder will be responsible for monitoring clearing and processing settlement for Mastercard, VISA and NFS incoming and outgoing card settlements files for ZICB cardholders in alignment with established rules regulations and procedures for the smooth running of operations.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE Equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance or Business Administration or ACCA/CIMA or Degree in any relevant field
  • Minimum of Two (2) years of relevant experience

6. LEGAL MANAGER

Reporting to the Bank Secretary and Legal Counsel, the job holder will be responsible for effectively contributing to the ZICB business through the provision of legal support and assisting the Bank in identifying eliminating, minimizing, and managing legal risk by anticipating issues and risk and liaising directly with the business or legal advisors of the business as appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE
  • Bachelor’s degree – LLB
  • Advocate of the High Court
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience

  • An astute Lawyer with analytical skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the banking industry including the applicable regulations and guidelines and the Banking and Financial Services Act

7. TAX MANAGER

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the job holder will serve as an advisor and manage multiple operations of the practice area to deliver a quality tax Service that will ensure that the Bank is tax compliant as well as increase the Banks reputation

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE Equivalent with a minimum of 5 credits that include Mathematics and English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation or professional accounting qualification such as CA Zambia, ACCA/CIMA
  • Extensive practical experience of three years (3) in Taxation

Skills Required to Undertake the Role

  • Extensive knowledge of Tax principles and law, tax audits, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
  • An efficient approach to resolving issues and providing advice
  • Analytical skills with detail orientation
  • Previous experience with an audit firm will be an added advantage
8. MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the job holder will be responsible for managing the production of timely, complete, and accurate management accounts, supported by reconciliations and auditable records. He/She will also review and develop financial processes to ensure they meet the ongoing needs of the Banks business

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE Equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional qualification ACCA/CIMA or ZICA
  • Minimum of five years (5) relevant accounting and finance experience

9. MARKET RISK OFFICER

Reporting to the Manager-Risk Enterprise, the job holder shall be responsible for supporting the Chief Risk Officer in ensuring the Capital, Liquidity and Market Risks are property managed under the Enterprise Risk Framework to advise on risk appetite and risk profile at a business unit level and to develop and deploy strategies designed to mitigate interest rate and liquidity risk and control while formulating and implementing portfolio Management plans to optimize the banks returns and preservation of capital value.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE Equivalent
  • Degree in Business Administration or Commerce or any relevant field
  • Postgraduate degree or Professional qualification or equivalent preferred.
  • Three (3) years experience in a similar role

Skills Required to undertake the Role

  • Enterprise-wide risk management practices
  • Reporting processes to management and corporate governance standards
  • Knowledge of market and credit risk measurement techniques
  • Understanding of structure and value drivers of retail and Wholesale banking products
  • Knowledge of Basel II/III, IFRS and Bank of Zambia guidelines

10. MANAGER-BANKING IT APPLICATIONS

Reporting to the Head of information Technology, the job holder shall be responsible for developing recommending and documenting plans, procedures and checklists for the IT Applications, assessing designing and providing system and technology training where needed, managing and maximizing the utilisation of the digital technology, analysing requirements and developing functional and design specifications, providing system and technical support to both internal and external as well as partners, assisting users maximise technology, recommending and implementing system and technology solutions and improvements, troubleshooting systems and
technology, automating organizational tasks , and supervising activities and staff.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE Equivalent
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years of working experience in a similar complex IT function

Skills Required to undertake the role

  • Experience in system administration
  • Technologically abreast
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
  • Database and application Server knowledge
  •  Scripting and programming languages
