STORES ASSISTANT – HUNTLEY FARM CHISAMBA(02)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

  • Keeping track of the amount of stock in storage & maintaining receipts, records and withdrawals of the storeroom
  • Receiving requisitions from technicians
  • Maintaining receipts, records and withdrawals of the stockroom
  • Ensuring that material is received in good time, quantity and quality and updated in the system
  • Helping expedite delivery of required goods by following up with supplier through emails and phone call
  • Ensuring that materials are stored and issued correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Keeping a file for all stores requisitions, stores return and supplier delivery notes
  • Due to high-value stock ensure no unauthorized people enter storage
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness in storage area storage
  • Any other assigned duties

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Certificate or Diploma in Stores Management
  • More than two years work experience
  • Computer literate levels and good inter-personal skills
  • Strong Excel skills and pastel
  • Membership of Professional body

The Required Attributes Include:

  • Computer literate, competency in pastel or Sage evolution will be an added advantage.
  • Customer service skills-Dealing with customer (suppliers) relations, processing
  •  Communication Skills-written and verbal communication and ability to give and receive feedback.
  • Procurement – getting quotations from suppliers and know each product in stock, stock control receivables and payables.
  • Understand the business and its client base, ensuring every customer & client is on the data base for references and follow ups.
  • Mathematical calculations for tolerances, calculations of quantities, etc
ELECTRICIAN – HUNTLEY FARM – CHISAMBA (02)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

  • Ensuring all electric installations are done and maintained according to Safety regulations.
  • Assembling, test, install and maintain appliances, equipment and fixtures
  • Determining the for causes of electrical systems and equipment failures
  • Using measurement tools to test the continuity of electrical circuits
  • Attending to electrical breakdowns or faults promptly in all company systems
  • Advising the management team on critical electrical systems that could be hazardous
  • Drafting blueprints that display the position and orientation of critical electrical systems components, wiring and circuitry
  • To communicate with Senior Technician at Huntley/ZESCO team in the event of power cuts and major electrical faults/problem and damages.
  • Responsible for starting the standby generators on a weekly or daily basis.
  • Ensuring that there is sufficient diesel in the standby generators.
  • Replacing any bulbs or tubes that are broken or not functioning.
  • Keeping a good stock of all emergency/critical electric spares and pumps

The Required Qualifications are:

  • Full grade twelve/nine certificate
  • Crafts Certificate in Electrical
  • 3 years relevant experience
  • Member of EIZ

REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN – CHISAMBA HUNTLEY FARM (03)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

  • Troubleshooting refrigeration systems for clients with different needs/replace faulty refrigeration parts of both electrical and refrigeration nature.
  • Installing new refrigeration systems, as well as cold rooms /freezer rooms, drop temperature systems, air conditioners and other types of refrigeration equipment
  • Preparing documentation (e.g. records of refrigerants, paper work, required materials, specifications etc.) for the purpose of providing written supports and for the purpose of compliance with regulations/or conveying information
  • Answering any questions that management and end users may have about their refrigeration systems
  • Observing and test newly-installed systems to ensure they work properly
  • Clean the evaporator and condenser fans, check refrigerant and oil levels, check oil quality, keep record of the systems performance at Huntley farm.
  • Performing routine preventive maintenance as needed and assigned for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of the refrigeration systems

The Required Qualifications are:

  • Full grade twelve/nine certificate -minimum
  • Crafts Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • 2 years relevant experience.
  • Membership of EIZ
