Twalumba Resort
We’re a team of professionals that seek to help revamp the hospitality industry in Zambia. Our Lodges/Resort offer Conferencing facilities, Wedding & Kitchen party venues, accommodation (rooms), and bar services. The Lodges/Resort also have swimming pools as well as restaurants where meals are served to walk in or booked-in clients.
We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
1. Chef
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications/qualities:
- Grade 12 school certificate
- Diploma in Food Production or relevant field
- Experience in a variety of different kitchens with exposure to banqueting and events catering
- Proven creativity in menu planning and recipe creation
- Ability to ensure meals are produced on time, and sufficient quantities are available
- Thorough knowledge of food preparation and servicing
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain stock levels of all kitchen supplies
- Be available for functions as they arise to ensure that the food is prepared and served as required
- Friendly and pleasant personality
2. Bar Man
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications/qualities:
- Grade 12 school certificate
- Relevant training certificate preferred
- Proven working experience (at least 2 years) as Bar Man
- Excellent knowledge and experience in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Friendly and pleasant personality
- Team player and enthusiastic
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to you can speak many languages including foreign will be an added advantage
