1. MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all Lusaka based Properties
  • Inspect properties regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules, receive works orders and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
  • Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities. And ensure that works are completed on time to required standards
  • Accomplishes maintenance human resource objectives by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling,
  • Communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions, recommending compensation actions, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards and resolving problems.
  • Meets maintenance financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, implementing corrective actions.
  • Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments, identifying problems and requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Asset Management diploma or equivalent education required
  • Diploma in Business Administration as added advantage
  • 3 years hands on experience
  • Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
2. LAND LEGAL OFFICER

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the acquisition of title deeds in the Territory
  • Draft a wide variety of land legal agreements.
  • Responsible for Change of ownership of all assets.
  • Assists in the transformation process of customary land to leasehold.
  • Provide internal advisory services on the acquisition of land
  • Provide legal mind to all the institutions of the organization on land matters
  • Ensure the development of service level agreements for service support and delivery.
  • Monitor the maintenance of the property register in accordance with Land policy
  • Assist in the development of guidelines, policies, procedures.
  • Analyse and review legal agreements, legislation and documents for the Board.
  • Creation of good relationship with Ministry of Land.
  • Review and draft land agreements policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.

3. PLUMBER

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
  • Follow building plans and blueprints.
  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
  • Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
  • Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical work as required.
  • Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used.

Person Specification:

  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings
  • Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
  • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements

Education And Experience Requirements: 

  • Full G12 Certificate
  • Completion of an plumbing program at a technical or trade school preferred
  • State plumbing license
  • 1-3 years’ experience as a journeyman plumber
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must have own tools
4.ELECTRICIAN
Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring
  • Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components
  • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards
  • Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
  • Complete required documentation of repairs and service information
  • Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts
  • Calibrate equipment to provided specifications
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
  • Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs

Person Specifications

  • Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program required
  • Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred
  • Journeyman Electrician license
  • 3-5 years of electrical experience
  • Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
  • Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
  • Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
  • Willing to work overtime
5. BUILDER

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site
  • Consult team leaders and manager on construction plans
  • Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide assistance to contractors (i.e., craft workers, electricians, painters) as needed
  • Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials
  • Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly

Person Specification

  • High school degree or equivalent; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus
  • Some experience in construction preferred
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
