1.0 Financial Controller (Manager) X 1 Kitwe

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Overall Management of Finance function
  • Treasury Management
  • Acting as a point of contact between Sabot and External, internal auditors & Bank.
  • Responsible for completion and sign off Annual Financial Statements, Tax returns and Audit reports.
  • Responsible for statutory compliance
  • Ensure that internal controls are implemented & followed.
  • Ensure timely and accurately reporting of all financial and accounting data and reports, Balance Sheet reconciliations, Intercompany confirmations and other relevant information.
  • Analysing of operational data for correctness and completeness including but not limited to Fuel and Tolls reports.
  • Responsible for Risk Management
  • Responsible for Debt management
  • Payroll processing

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Must be a member of ZICA.
  • ACCA, bachelor’s degree in accountancy or related
  • At least five years post-qualification experience At least two years in a supervisory/managerial role

2.0 Human Resource Manager X1 Kitwe

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligning with overall business strategy and provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Bridging Management and employee relations in Industrial Relations issues; including Interpretation of Labour laws, disciplinary code and ensure legal compliance
  • Managing Recruitment & Selection process
  • Managing Remuneration, Compensation and Benefits
  • Provide day to day performance management guidance to line managers including coaching. counselling, career development, disciplinary actions etc
  • Identification of training needs, managing Training and Development, evaluation and monitoring of programmes by working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Provide HR Policy/Procedure guidance and interpretation by consulting with line management on issues affecting them and providing HR guidance when appropriate
  • Leave Management
  • HR Monthly reports

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Must be a member of ZIHRM
  • Should at least possess a minimum qualification of Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Master’s degree in a related field is an added advantage
  • At least five years post-qualification experience
  • At least two years in a supervisory/managerial role

3.0 Senior Workshop Foreman X1 Kitwe

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the Technical Manager in the running of workshops in all depots in Zambia
  • Supervision of routine inspections and maintenance works in the Workshop Attending to breakdowns outside workstation timeously
  • Supervision of delegated tasks to all Technicians and maintain job orders for repair and maintenance
  • Planning vehicle service schedules for all vehicles and equipment
  • Ensure that personnel under supervision adhere to health and safety policies
  • Ensure that vehicles are road worthy in terms of fitness
  • Preparation of monthly Reports-Repair, Breakdown, Light Vehicle, Component replacement and Maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Must be a member of EIZ
  • Should at least possess a minimum qualification of Diploma in Automotive Mechanics/Electronics or related
  • Degree is an added advantage
  • Should have knowledge in transport business
  • At least two years in a supervisory role

4.0 Sendem Technician (Satellite Fleet Technician) X1 Kitwe

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the repair and maintenance of all monitoring devices i.e. Mix vision & Drive Cam, Fleet Management, Global track and Fuel probes
  • Manage Pico Base Station (PBS)
  • Monitor Trip Sheet and Light vehicle Calculation Monitoring of convoys
  • Monitor and manage all technical projects
  • Monitor all fleet Sim cards in fleet management technology and ensure they are working by liaising with the service provider through IT department
  • Conducting investigations on fleet management technology and advise management Preparation of all month end reports

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Should at least possess a minimum qualification of Diploma in CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics in Transport) and/or Certificate or better in information Technology
  • Member of the CILT
  • Should have knowledge in transport business
  • At least two years’ work experience

5.0 Auto Mechanics X9 Kitwe and Lusaka

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine service/maintenance works on vehicles as required
  • Conduct Repairs and Maintenance
  • Attend to vehicle breakdown timeously
  • Trouble shooting of complicated problems using a tech tool Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
  • Check brake airlines or pipes for air leaks
  • Perform Wheel alignment on vehicles
  • Should have experience with Volvo, Howo and Shacman trucks

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Minimum qualification of Certificate/Diploma in Auto Mechanics
  • Member of EIZ
  • Two years’ work experience

6.0 Auto Electricians X3 Kitwe and Lusaka

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic electrical tests from horse to trailer when needed and handle all electrical duties on trucks including small vehicles
  • Attending to all duties related to shift gear box on vehicles
  • Attending to all electrical breakdowns within and outside the depot timeously
  • Overhaul of all electrical components
  • Servicing and repairing of all electrical units such as starter motors, wiper motors, battery maintenance and services.
  • Should have experience with Volvo, Howo and Shacman trucks

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Minimum of a Craft Certificate in Auto Electrical
  • Member of EIZ
  • Two years work experience

7.0 International Truck Drivers X50

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivering Clients Cargo through driving timeously
  • Load and offload Cargo at designated places in a timeous manner as assigned by Superiors
  • Conduct physical basic vehicle inspection or checks before departure i.e. wheel nuts, tyres, fuel tank is full, screen wipers, lights etc
  • Responsible that hooking of trailers is correctly done (driver has no authority to disconnect trailer without approval)
  • Ensure that company truck is not left unattended to at any point and time unless prior approval is sought from superiors
  • Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations as required by Law
  • Ensure that all necessary documents are valid and always carried i.e. licences, yellow cards,
    insurance, permits etc
  • Responsible for delivering client’s cargo in good order, and after delivery to ensure that the
    cargo documents are signed for and stamped by the consignee (PODS).
  • Report any Mechanical faults identified on the vehicle including accidents
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade Nine (9) Certificate with the ability to read and write.
  • Grade Twelve (12) added advantage.
  • Must have full valid CE, PSV driving license.
  • Must have class D license.
  • Must have a valid passport.
  • Must be a Zambian Citizen with a green NRC
  • Should have at least three (3) years’ work experience

8.0 Subcontracting Clerk X1 Kitwe

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure trip sheet data collection and filling is maintained in a systematic manner
  • Accurately enter trip sheet information in the system provided timeously Compute trip sheet information timeously
  • Compile and generate monthly reports

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Minimum of a Certificate in Information Technology or related
  • Proficient with database systems
  • Two years’ work experience

9.0 Assistant Sendem Technician (Satellite Fleet Technician) X1 Kitwe

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the maintenance of all monitoring devices ie. Mix vision& Drive Cam, Fleet Management, Global track, Fuel probes
  • Utilize both fleet management on board computer and global track to obtain positions and tacho data for management use.
  • Providing mix vision and drive cam clips and reporting to relevant departments for coaching

  • Conducting investigations on fleet management technology and advise management
  • Monitor all fleet Sim cards in fleet management technology and ensure they are working by liaising with the service provider through IT department
  • Assisting with the global track and Fleet Management (FM) repairs
  • Monitor and manage all technical projects
  • Monitor fuel probes and preparation of fuel management reports through tank level sensor. manual computations.
  • Assisting with the repair of fuel devices on the trucks
  • Monitor Trip Sheet and Light vehicle calculation by auditing trip sheets prepared by data and statistical section of the operations department (kilometer bonus and fuel)
  • Preparation of Fleet Management month end reports and providing graphical and relevant paperwork for all fleet management systems supplied by the company.
  • Provide exception reports for monitoring driver behavior
  • Install, repair and maintain all fleet manager systems supplied by the company
  • Manage faulty units by sending them to relevant support authorities and requesting for new stock i.e. Sendem transport technology and drive Cam
  • Download and process plugs for both internal and external depots

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Diploma in Information Technology
  • Three years’ experience at least one (1) of exposure in a similar field
  • Possess the experience of repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems to which the applicable installations apply (Sendem-Mix and GT)
