Multiple Positions – Nanga Farms

Nanga Farms Ltd. is a large irrigated Sugarcane Estate situated near Mazabuka in the Southern Province of Zambia.  The Company is part of the Illovo Sugar Africa Group and its main activities are the cultivation of 2,860 hectares of Sugarcane and the rearing of 1,400 head of Cattle.  The Company now invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions of:-

1. Sign Writer

Job Purpose

Reporting to the building Foreman, the purpose of the job is to design make signs and painting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Level one certificate in Art and Design or any related fields.
• Minimum one (3) years in the same field.

2. Bricklayer

Job Purpose

Reporting to the building Foreman, the purpose of the job is to build/blockworks, concrete works, excavations and plastering.

Qualifications and Experience

• G7 Trade test Certificate or better.
• Minimum two (2) years in the same field.

3. Welder

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Senior Welder, the purpose of the job is to carry out fabrications works, welding and general equipment repairs at the Farm.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade Twelve Certificate.
• Craft / Trade test Certificate in metal fabrication and Welding.
• Minimum two (2) years in the same field.
