As part of JCS FOOD TOWN business expansion, we are soon to be launching the JCS HOTEL. It is in this regard that we wish to hire the following to be part of our team:
1. Hotel Manager
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Hotel Manager to oversee our hotel operations. In this position, you will direct the day-to-day operations and activities of the hotel. To excel in this role, you must be approachable and detailed-oriented with proven hospitality or management work experience. Our ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee personnel including receptionist and other employees.
- Monitor employee performance and conduct regular evaluations to help improve customer service.
- Welcome and register guests once they arrive.
- Making sure that the physical environment of the hotel is maintained at all times.
- Resolve issues regarding hotel services, amenities, and policies.
- Organize activities and assign responsibilities to employees to ensure productivity.
- Create and apply a marketing strategy to promote the hotel’s services and amenities.
- Evaluate hotel performance and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
NB: Management will assign other duties when need arises.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel management or relevant field.
- Between the age of 29-36
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in hotel management or similar role.
- Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data entry software.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work in Multi cultural setting
- Exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to detail.
2. Hotel Receptionist/ Hotel Front Desk
We are looking for a well-groomed, friendly Hotel Front Desk to be responsible for welcoming guests. You should have a pleasant and professional disposition with guests.
Responsibilities:
- Checking guests in and out.
- Receiving and managing reservations made online and telepathically.
- Verifying guests’ payment methods during check-in.
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities.
- Assigning rooms to guests and informing them of any specials offered by the hotel.
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
NB: Management will assign other duties when need arises.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Hospitality or relevant field.
- Between the age of 25-33
- Previous hospitality experience would be advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-presented and professional appearance.
- Competency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Degree in hotel management is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills.
3. Business Centre Clerk
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and receiving clients and customers.
- Typing up documents and editing existing documents on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Assisting customers with printing, photocopying, laminating, binding, scanning and e-mailing.
- Taking and printing of ID Photographs
NB: Management will assign other duties when need arises.
Requirements:
- Minimum a diploma in business administration or related field.
- At least two years’ experience in the same field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-presented and professional appearance.
- Competency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Between the age of 22 and 30
