DMI St. Eugene University is named after Saint Eugene De Mazenod, the founder of Oblates of Mary Immaculate. The university is run by the Catholic Sisters of Daughters of Mary Immaculate (DMI) and its Collaborators. DMI-St. Eugene University has multiple campus colleges in Lusaka, including the Woodlands, Great North Road, and Chipata campuses. The Institute of Virtual and Distance Learning (IVDL) was established in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science, Vocational Training, and Early Education, operating from ten Provincial Education Centers throughout Zambia.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor specializing in CSE Digital Marketing, Data Science, and Social Work at DMI St. Eugene University in Lusaka. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as assistant teaching, communication with students and colleagues, educational planning, and mathematics instruction. The candidate will work closely with students in the classroom environment and support their learning needs.
Qualifications
- Assistant Teaching and Education skills
- Strong Communication abilities
- Experience in Mathematics instruction
- Ability to work effectively with children
- Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Social Work, or a related field
- Previous teaching experience at the university level
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
