JOB PURPOSE: To undertake the maintenance of appointments and tracking system of patients in order to facilitate retention in care and treatment.

JOB RESPOSIBILITIES

  • Undertakes effectively the provision of customer care services in order to facilitate customer satisfaction
  • Undertakes effectively the maintenance of updated patient information in order to facilitate retention.
  • Undertakes effectively the maintenance of updated patients` appointment register in order to facilitate quality care and treatment
  • Undertakes effectively maintenance of an updated patient tracking system in order to facilitate patient follow-up

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Form 5/Grade 12 School Certificate
  • Diploma in Social Work or Equivalent

JOB TITLE:  DISTRICT PMTCT PROGRAM OFFICER (6) Positions

STATION: Chipata, Petauke, Katete, Lundazi, Sinda and Nyimba District Health Offices

JOB PURPOSE: To supervise the provision of Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) Services in order to achieve elimination of vertical transmission of HIV.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises effectively HIV case identification in pregnant and breastfeeding women and children born from HIV positive mothers in order to facilitate linkage to treatment.
  • Supervises effectively treatment of HIV Positive pregnant & breast-feeding women and Infants in order to achieve viral load suppression and reduce the HIV transmission.
  • Undertakes effectively monitoring of viral load in HIV positive pregnant and breastfeeding women in order to facilitate appropriate clinical interventions.
  • Supervises effectively implementation of retention strategies among pregnant and breastfeeding women and infants living with HIV in order to achieve improved clinical outcomes.
  • Undertakes effectively monitoring and evaluation of Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) programs in order to facilitate appropriate interventions.
  • Coordinates and undertakes effectively capacity building programs in order to impart knowledge and skills.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Full Form 5/ Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent
  • Minimum Three (3) years relevant Pre-Job Experience

JOB TITLE:  DISTRICT TB/HIV PROGRAM OFFICER – SEVEN (7) POSITIONS

STATION: Chipata, Petauke, Katete, Sinda, Nyimba, Lundazi and Mambwe District Health Offices

JOB PURPOSE: To coordinate   the implementation of TB/HIV programs in order to improve patient clinical outcomes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates effectively the implementation of TB Prevention programs in order to reduce TB Incidence.
  • Coordinates effectively the implementation of Case Identification in order to facilitate improved clinical outcomes.
  • Coordinates effectively the implementation of TB/HIV Treatment programs in order to improve treatment outcomes.
  • Undertakes effectively monitoring and evaluation of TB/HIV programs in order to facilitate appropriate interventions.
  • Coordinates and undertakes effectively capacity building programs in order to impart knowledge and skills.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate

JOB TITLE:  FINANCE OFFICER (5) Positions

STATION: Provincial Health Office- Chipata, Peatuke, Katete and Lundazi District Health Offices

JOB PURPOSE: To undertake accounting functions in order to enhance accountability of public funds and adherence to financial regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertakes effectively maintenance of finance records in order to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of information.
  • Undertakes timely preparation of financial reports in order to facilitate decision making.
  • Undertakes effectively preparation of responses to audit queries in order to facilitate decision making.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

STATION: Chipata District Health Office

JOB PURPOSE: To coordinate community-based HIV/TB programs in order to facilitate health outcomes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates effectively community HIV/TB case identification in order to facilitate improved clinical outcomes.
  • Coordinates effectively community-based HIV/TB treatment, care, and support programs in order to facilitate improved clinical outcomes
  • Coordinates effectively community-based HIV/TB treatment retention programs in order to facilitate improved clinical outcomes
  • Coordinates effectively community-based HIV/TB prevention programs in order to reduce incidence rates
  • Coordinates effectively monitoring and evaluation of community programs in order to facilitate decision making.

JOB PURPOSE: To undertake the implementation of Voluntary Male Medical Circumcision (VMMC) services in order to facilitate the achievement of the VMMC programs.

JOB PURPOSE: To supervise and coordinate the provision of HIV/TB pharmaceutical services and products in order to ensure availability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates effectively the management of HIV/TB pharmaceuticals in order to ensure availability.
  • Coordinates effectively the implementation of pharmacovigilance in all supported sites in order to identify and monitor unreported adverse reactions.
  • Monitors effectively the implementation of pharmaceutical care and services in order to implement appropriate interventions.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent

JOB TITLE: MEDICAL MENTOR – Two (2) Positions

STATION: Sinda and Petauke District Health Offices

JOB PURPOSE: To coordinate and undertake the provision HIV/TB mentorship programs in order to improve the capacity of service providers.

  • Coordinates and undertakes HIV/TB mentorship programs in order to improve clinical outcomes
  • Undertakes effectively the monitoring and evaluation of HIV/TB programs in order to facilitate appropriate interventions

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Full Form V/Grade 12 Certificate
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery or equivalent
  • Valid practicing License
  • Three (3) years minimum relevant Pre-Job Experience:

JOB TITLE: ELECTRONIC PATIENT APPOINTMENTS & TRACKING SERVICES OFFICER – One Position (1)

STATION: Provincial Health Office- Chipata District

JOB PURPOSE: To undertake the development and maintenance of the electronic patient appointments and tracking systems in order to facilitate smooth operation and provision of health services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertakes effectively development of software applications in order to facilitate delivery of health services
  • Undertakes effectively system maintenance in order to ensure system functionality
  • Undertakes effectively the provision of End-user support services in order to enhance systems visibility and facilitate service delivery.
  • Undertakes effectively capacity building in order to impart knowledge and skills

JOB TITLE: DATA MANAGEMENT AND ANALYSIS SPECIALIST- One Position (1)

STATION: Provincial Health Office- Chipata

JOB PURPOSE: To coordinate and supervise data management processes in order to facilitate decision making.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates effectively maintenance and updating of the database in order to facilitate access to accurate information for decision-making.
  • Coordinates effectively strategic planning and data reviews in order to leverage resources towards program implementation.
  • Coordinates and undertakes timely implementation of standard data management processes in order to improve data quality.
  • Undertakes and coordinates regularly, trainings, mentorships, and Technical Assistance programs in order to build and strengthen capacities at all levels of health care in the province.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Library and Information Studies or equivalent
