MECHANIC (CROPPING) – HUNTLEY FARM CHISAMBA (1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:

• Checking, repairing, and maintaining overhaul farm machinery and vehicles.
• Repairing defective engines or engine components and service vehicles to maintain functionality.
• Reassembling machines or equipment, implementing repairs, testing for operation and adjusting where necessary.
• Listening to clients to learn more about the vehicle or machine’s history, potential problems and services they would like to receive.
• Dismantling defective machines for repair using hand tools.
• Carrying out physical checks of earth-moving machines, farm equipment and other machinery.
• Cleaning equipment parts and tools, repairing and maintaining them in good working condition.
• keeping detailed records of all work performance

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Crafts Certificate in Mechanics
• 3 years of work experience in a similar position
• The Required Attributes Include:
• Team Player
• Strong, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a deadline-driven operating environment.
• Ability to self-manage workload and work independently.
• Detail-orientated with the technical aptitude and ability to perform tasks accurately and comprehensively.
