Job Title: Manager
JM Supply Ltd is looking a Manager to manage the mall, we are  a warehouse-style wholesale centre located in Ndola.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operations of the building materials supermarket.
• Manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory control.
• Supervise product sourcing, supplier negotiations, and price comparisons.
• Ensure proper merchandising, store layout, and product displays.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, develop strategies to increase revenue.
• Manage and train staff, set performance targets, and conduct evaluations.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Work closely with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely product replenishment.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on sales and operational performance.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Store Manager, Retail Manager, or Operations Manager in hardware, building materials, or tools retail.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, tools, hardware, and equipment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
• Good financial and analytical skills, including budgeting and reporting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and customers.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and POS software is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and meet targets.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
