Maintenance Manager



  • To support the Kansanshi and Kalumbila service contracts, with expert training and systems to maintenance system development.
  • To liase with customer to ensure that the concern raised on quality of service are addressed in the short term and long term.
  • To ensure that VMI is at the correct level and supports the machine population on site.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective logistics systems that link up with planned maintenance systems.
  • Develop reports that support monitoring of performance by site management.
  • Train technicians and also customer technicians on best practice and improve diagnostic systems.
  • Coordinate with customer and develop a good communication system between the two.
  • Improve machine reliability and availability.
  • Train the Epiroc staff on contract profitability and daily and monthly monitoring of same.

Competences, Skills and Experience

  • 15 Years experience in Machine Maintenance related Field
  • Engineer with self-starter and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to coach and train technical and operation employees
