Mission
- To support the Kansanshi and Kalumbila service contracts, with expert training and systems to maintenance system development.
- To liase with customer to ensure that the concern raised on quality of service are addressed in the short term and long term.
- To ensure that VMI is at the correct level and supports the machine population on site.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective logistics systems that link up with planned maintenance systems.
- Develop reports that support monitoring of performance by site management.
- Train technicians and also customer technicians on best practice and improve diagnostic systems.
- Coordinate with customer and develop a good communication system between the two.
- Improve machine reliability and availability.
- Train the Epiroc staff on contract profitability and daily and monthly monitoring of same.
Competences, Skills and Experience
- 15 Years experience in Machine Maintenance related Field
- Engineer with self-starter and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coach and train technical and operation employees
