
Northrise University
We are seeking a dynamic individual to teach fundamental undergraduate and graduate Information Systems courses and assist with the administration of the undergraduate and graduate ICT programs at Northrise University.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for course delivery, including instructional objectives, assignments, textbooks, grading structure, and methods.
- Provide students with Northrise University syllabi and modules that align with university templates, including course objectives.
- Regularly revise and update course materials to ensure relevance.
- Promote higher-level learning by offering opportunities for students to develop information literacy, problem-solving skills, and connect theory to practice.
- Adhere to university policies regarding academic integrity, including addressing plagiarism and cheating.
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication.
- Organize course content in a logical sequence, adjusting delivery pace to meet student needs.
- Utilize educational technology to enhance learning (e.g., PowerPoint, online syllabi, and interactive course components).
- Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment by encouraging discussions and showing enthusiasm for the subject matter.
- Be accessible for academic consultation before/after class and via email or phone.
- Create an interactive, student-centered classroom environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Experience Requirements:
- At least two years of college-level teaching experience and industry experience.
Education Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
