cfb medical centre, a leading private hospital in Lusaka, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Steward to join our dynamic canteen team.
Job Summary
As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area, ensuring proper sanitation of dishes, utensils, and equipment, and supporting the chefs and line staff with kitchen duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and storerooms
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies properly
- Dispose of kitchen waste hygienically
- Follow proper safety and sanitation policies
- Support chefs and kitchen staff as required
The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes:
- Full Grade 12 Certificate with credit in English
- Certificate in Food Production or Hospitality is an added advantage
- Computer literate
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
