Spectra Oil is seeking a driven and ambitious Key Account Manager to join our Sales team. This role presents a unique opportunity to work at the heart of Zambia’s dynamic mining sector, fostering long-term client partnerships and delivering tangible value through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and enhance client relationships.
- Utilise CRM tools to maintain up-to-date and reliable pipelines and forecasts.
- Partner with technical experts to address customer lubrication and tribology challenges with value-driven solutions.
- Achieve and exceed renewal, upsell, and cross-sell targets to expand share of wallet.
- Secure contracts while managing credit exposure and financial risks in a responsible manner.
- Deliver accurate financial forecasts and achieve budget targets for revenue and margin.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Track and report on key performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities early.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, or technical support in industrial or mining environments. (desired)
- Strong communication skills, confident in engaging with technical teams and client executives alike. (desireable)
- Comfortable using CRM systems and disciplined in data management. (desireable)
- A problem-solver with a strategic mindset who thrives on results. (mandatory)
- A self-starter with high drive, curiosity, and analytical thinking. (mandatory)
