Job Title: Investment Officer
Job description: The Investment Officer will be responsible for managing the investment products of the company. The Job holder will be the convener and manager of the investment committee.
Responsibilities:
- Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies
- Look back at previous investment decisions and the thought process of making the investment decision
- Liaise with fund managers and network with industry professionals
- Monitor closely financial press and k market trends, opportunities, risks, and new investment products
- Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios
- Develop complex financial models and analyse legal document
- Develop investment products
- Identify and Onboard Investors
- Manage Investor Accounts and Reconcile Transactions
- Be the liaison for investors
Requirements:
The Investment Manager officers should have the following skills, education and experience:
- Proven work experience as an Investment Manager, Investment Analyst, Credit Manager, Credit
- Analyst or similar role
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
- Solid understanding of lending procedures
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial
spreadsheets (e.g. in Excel)
Negotiation skills
BSc in Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance or relevant field
