Job Description We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing the bank’s IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance of critical systems. You will play a key role in supporting business operations by managing servers, networks, storage, and cloud services in a regulated financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., Windows/Linux servers, VMware, Azure).
- Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of IT services.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core infrastructure services.
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
- Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations.
- Support audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes.
