Job Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Officer in Charge of the informal sector, the position aims to carryout awareness, increase member registrations and collections and providing quality services. This position is responsible for facilitating and conducting awareness programs in communities, recruiting new members/new members registration, beneficiary registration, effective collection of premiums/contributions, reconciling accounts on request.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and conduct awareness to employers/players/members in the Informal sector.
- Guide on the eligibility criteria and scheme rules
- Ensure all self-employers/players in the informal sector are registered and where possible guide the registration.
- To on-board beneficiaries or guide principal members on beneficiaries registration.
- Guide payment process using USSD.
- Ensure payment of monthly contributions.
- Respond to member/employer queries.
- Monitor collections/utilisation.
- To resolve all queries relating to membership and contributions
- To ensure that only Bonafede members access the health care services in line with their benefit package and ensure to meet monthly targets.
- Submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to Senior Officer.
- To perform any other role as may be delegated.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Grade twelve (12) School certificate with 5 ‘O’ levels with credit or better including Mathematics and English Language.
- A Diploma in Marketing/Pension and Insurance/Social Work/Development studies/Accountancy/Finance/Commerce/Business Administration or related social sciences with at least three (3) years’ experience in a similar role gained in the social security, insurance industry, Marketing or financial services.
- Degree in Marketing/Pension and Insurance/Social Work/Development studies/Accountancy/Finance/Commerce/Business Administration or related social sciences with at least one (1) year’ experience in a similar role gained in the social security, insurance industry, Marketing or financial services.
