LOCATION: MULTI FACILITY ECONOMIC ZONE (MFEZ), LUSAKA
1. HUMAN RESOURCE TEAM LEAD
Reporting to the Senior Human Resource Business Partner, the Human Resource Team Lead is responsible for
managing the HR functions across multiple business units at the Multi Facility Economic Zone (MFEZ) Beverage Production Plant, and the Plastics Plant. This position ensures the effective delivery of HR services, aligns HR strategies with business goals, and oversees a team to support the HR needs of these facilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct the HR function across the business units, serving as the main HR point of contact.
• Implement HR strategies to support business objectives, maintain a positive work environment, and
promote high engagement.
• Oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and development.
• Allocate Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP’s) to production lines and support departments for
optimal support coverage.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; a Master’s degree is
preferred.
• Extensive HR management experience, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG industry setting.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, communication, and the ability to manage under pressure.
2. BUSINESS UNIT HR BUSINESS PARTNER
Reporting to the Human Resource Team Lead, the Business Unit HR Business Partner (BU HRBP) plays a pivotal
role in aligning human resources functions with the operations of beverage production, plastics production, 3 to production lines and a support function at Bigtree Beverages (BTB) manufacturing facility. This position acts as a consultant and a strategic driver of HR initiatives, directly reporting to the HR Team Lead.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Align HR strategies with business operations, driving HR projects and initiatives within the designated
business units.
• Conduct Skills Gap Analysis, engage in Demand Forecasting, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development.
• Lead the Recruitment and Hiring processes, managing Onboarding and Orientation, and driving Training and
Development programs.
• Implement Employee Engagement initiatives, including Recognition and Rewards, promoting Professional
Development.
• Foster a culture of Continuous Learning and Employee Engagement.
• Participate in Cross-Functional Collaboration, facilitating conflict resolution and decision-making to ensure
departmental cohesion.
• Consult and strategize with management, participating in company meetings to align HR and business goals.
• Lead and manage HR projects within their specialist area, becoming the subject matter expert and providing
guidance related to their specialty.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in manufacturing setting / FMCG
• Solid understanding of Zambian labor laws and regulations
• Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• High business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Adaptability in dynamic environments, maintaining integrity and professional ethics.
