Zampalm Limited, is situated in Kanchibiya District of muchinga province and its the first ever commercial plantation of palms in Zambia.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Officer at Zampalm Limited in Kanchibiya.

The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for;

  • Facilitating human resources processes, including recruitment, onboarding.
  • Support managers in the performance management process by ensuring that quality goals are set for individuals and that they are relevant to the business priorities.
  • Ensuring timely updating of key information and managing personnel data/employee records.
  • Coordinating the time attendance system and addressing non- compliance.
  • The Human Resource Officer will work closely with management to create, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with Zambian labor laws and practices.
  • Support the business in leave management process by ensuring that leave plans are in place for all employees.
  • Ensuring that all documents are filed correctly.
  • He/she shall adhere to HR deadlines of reports.
  • Shall perform any other duties assigned to by the superior

    Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Human Resources or a related field
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations in Zambia, with experience in HR policy and procedures
  • Experience in staff recruitment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient with Sage 300 people
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff
  • Strong excel skills
  • At least 35years and above
  • Must be a member of ZIHRM
