Human Resource Assistant

MAIN DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Schedules disciplinary meetings and Human Resource events and maintains agendas;
• Prepares documents for Disciplinary Hearings;
• Updates and tracks records of cases received in Human Resource until the time they are concluded;
• Maintains the database for employees on suspensions and monitors the same to ensure that suspensions are lifted within the stipulated time;
• Helps stakeholders in the use of the Disciplinary Case Management System;
• Files all medical bills;
• Monitors employees on prolonged sick leave and updates management on the same;
• Participates in wellness activities and encourages other employees to engage in wellness activities;
• Produces and submits reports on general Human Resource activities; and
• Gives administrative support to all Units in Human Resource Department.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 Certificate or its equivalent;
• Minimum of Diploma in Human Resource Management or Social Science or any related field;
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in Human Resource function; and
• Membership to the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) is mandatory.
