Position Title: Head of Pricing, Data, and Analytics

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and implementation of sophisticated pricing models, data analytics, and portfolio management tools, driving our company’s performance and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing Model Development
- Develop and maintain advanced pricing models for precise risk assessment.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure alignment with guidelines and risk appetite.
- Continuously enhance pricing methodologies in response to market trends and emerging risks.
Data Analytics
- Lead the data analytics function to provide valuable insights into portfolio performance and risk trends.
- Utilize advanced data analytics tools to support underwriting decisions and strategic planning.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytical processes.
IFRS17 Compliance
- Act as the IFRS17 lead, ensuring all pricing and data processes comply with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement processes to meet IFRS17 reporting standards.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure timely compliance.
Portfolio Management
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize portfolio profitability and growth.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to implement effective portfolio management strategies.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the pricing and analytics team.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and professional development opportunities to team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in pricing and data analytics within the reinsurance or insurance industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS17 and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
