HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Golden Star Car Hire is looking for a highly organized and results-driven Head of Operations to manage daily operations, oversee staff, and ensure smooth fleet management across our Lusaka and Copperbelt branches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate operational staff (mechanics and drivers)

• Manage fleet maintenance, performance analysis, record-keeping, and compliance

• Oversee vehicle certifications, tracking, and risk analysis

• Prepare daily operational, financial, and performance reports

• Vendor onboarding, evaluation, and relationship management

• Conduct operational cost analysis and assist with budgets

• Ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance standards

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or higher in Business, Operations Management, Transport & Logistics, or related field

• Valid driver’s license with 2+ years driving experience

• Experience in logistics and fleet management preferred

• Mechanical knowledge is an advantage

• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• High integrity and attention to detail

• Proficient in operational reporting and data analysis
